秋田市・土崎港。
江戸時代に始まり、300年以上にわたり受け継がれてきた「土崎港曳山まつり」。
武者人形を飾った曳山を曳き、町を練り歩くこの神事は、
地域の絆と祈りをかたちにする、国の重要無形民俗文化財です。
1945年、日本で最後の空襲に見舞われたこの町で、
人々は祭りを通して、失われたものと向き合い、明日をつくり続けてきました。この物語は、祭りを愛し、守り、未来へと手渡そうとする人々の姿を追った記録です。

The Tsuchizaki Hikiyama Festival has been passed down for over 300 years since the Edo period.
Designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset of Japan,
this Shinto ritual features warrior-adorned floats parading through the town—
a living expression of the community’s bond and collective prayer.
In 1945, Tsuchizaki was among the last places in Japan to suffer an air raid.
And still, through this festival, the people have found ways to face what was lost—
and continue shaping tomorrow.
This is a record of those who cherish, protect, and carry the spirit of the festival into the future.【出演】
